Direct debit membership periods
Membership payments are processed every week from the date you joined. Your payment covers classes from that date for 7 days.If payment defaults you will be charged a default fee of $14.90.
Memberships have a minimum term of 12 weeks to allow you to book classes in advance. After 12 weeks, your agreement will automatically renew for another 12 weeks unless otherwise advised.
Direct debit membership changes
Members are welcome to swap between the Membership options. Simply email email@example.com to change your Membership.
Suspend your direct debit membership
You are welcome to pause your membership at any time, for a minimum of 7 days. You may do this once every 3 months with no fees. Additional suspensions will be charged at a non-refundable rate of $5 per week. If you would like to suspend your Membership simply email us with at least 7 days notice from your next scheduled direct debit payment.
Cancel your membership
After the initial 12 week minimum term, simply contact us via email with at least 7 days notice from your next scheduled direct debit payment. All requests for cancellations must be made in writing. You will receive an email confirming your cancellation when it has been completed.
Memberships are paid in advance, so no refunds can be awarded once the transaction has been made if you fail to advise within adequate time frames.
We do understand that life can be unexpected, so please discuss your situation with us directly if need be.
New client intro offers
The introductory offers can be used once only and is valid from the date of your first class after purchasing the pass. If you have already been to a casual session or purchased a 10 class pass, you are unable to purchase the intro pass.
Student Offer: 20% off all class packs for full-time secondary school and/or tertiary students. To redeem offer you must contact the studio with valid proof of enrollment and/or a current student card.
Booking and cancellation policy
As class sizes are limited, we strongly recommend you pre-book online or via the Mindbody app to reserve your place. Bookings open 10 weeks in advance.
Places in class are limited and valuable to the Barre Society community. If you need to cancel, please do so 9 hours before class starts. If you forget to cancel or are absent (late cancelling) you will lose your class in addition to incurring a $10 missed class fee. There are no exceptions due to the small class sizes and popularity of these classes.
If you join a waitlist, please treat that class as if you're booked in and ready to go - being mindful of our cancellation window. Should a place become available you will receive either an email or text from us offering you a place in the class. Please respond by notifying us if you can attend or not. If you cannot make it, your place will be offered to the next client. Failure to respond to the wait list offer will result in a lost class and incur a late cancellation fee.
Age Limits and Restrictions
You must be at least 16 years of age to attend our classes. Barre Society does not offer childcare services. Children are not permitted to be left unsupervised in the studio.
Returns & refunds
All purchases and direct debit transactions are non-exchangeable, non-refundable or non-transferable. Unfortunately we are not able to refund any client for unused Membership periods or casual class passes.
Barre Society reserves the right to cancel and change teachers, events, classes, appointments and workshops without prior notice.
We will not pass your email address or any other details on to any other party.
I agree that Barre Society is in no way responsible for the safekeeping of my personal belongings while I attend class. I understand that classes may be physically strenuous and I voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is risk of personal injury, property loss or death. I agree that neither I, my heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against Barre Society or its members for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
Barre Society does not assume responsibility for any lost or stolen personal property. If you do become the victim of a theft, immediately report it to a Barre Society staff member.
