Postpartum recovery isn’t about “bouncing back”—it’s about reconnecting with your body, gently rebuilding strength, and moving forward with confidence. Even if you're feeling ready to dive in, your body has done something incredible, and it deserves care, patience, and kindness.
Barre+1 is our signature 8-week postnatal movement course designed to support you in your return to exercise—safely and effectively. These classes are gentle on your joints and pelvic floor, while still giving you the challenge you need to regain strength, energy, and alignment.
We know the early months of motherhood come with more than physical healing. Many mums join us feeling disconnected from their bodies, overwhelmed by exhaustion, and unsure of where—or how—to start moving again. In Barre+1, we guide you through low-impact, physiotherapist-approved movement to help rebuild deep core and pelvic floor strength, improve posture, and close abdominal separation—without putting your healing at risk. Every class is designed to nourish, not drain you.
You won’t be rushed. You won’t be compared. You’ll move at your own pace, in your own body, with the support of experienced coaches and a small group of local mums who get it.
Whether you’re a first-time mum or a mum of four, this is your space to move with confidence, restore physical strength, and enjoy a moment of reconnection with yourself—while bub is right there with you.
What to Expect
A nourishing blend of mat and reformer Pilates, led by experienced movement coaches with specialist knowledge in postpartum recovery. You’ll be guided every step of the way with safe progressions and personalised support to meet you exactly where you are.

Dates: 4 June - 23 jULY 2025
Days: 11.30am-12.30pm Wednesdays (once a week for 8 weeks)
Cost: $180 paid upfront for the 8 week course.

This course was created in collaboration with a trusted local physiotherapist, so you can feel confident that every class is both effective and safe for you and your little one.
Mums must be given the OK by your Obstetrician or GP to workout
Babies must be min 4 weeks (6 weeks for c-section birth)
Bring your own supportive baby carrier, no slings please (please leave prams at home as our studio is upstairs)
For your safety (and bubs) grippy pilates socks are essential (you can grab a pair in studio)
A baby change table, kitchen and bathrooms are available for your use.
